How do I add a new plant variety?

On the plants page, there’s a + button in the lower right corner. Pressing that will bring up the camera where you can take photos of seed packets, growing guides, and anything with text information about what you’re growing. The app will process the text in the images to create your own custom plant. You can then edit the results and continue adding information as you learn more. Pro tip: you can also grab information from websites with the “add URL” button, or type in notes yourself with the “add notes” button.

I want to manually enter all of the infomormation about my custom plant. Do I have to use photos?

You don’t have to use photos! From the camera interface, there’s an edit button in the upper right corner. Pressing that will bring up the manual plant creation dialog.

There are a lot of controls on the garden editor. What do they do?
